BELL RINGING
Bernard Taylor
This strange hobby is something I have been doing since just before my twelveth birthday.
I was taught by my father, Eric, and it is something of a family tradition, going back at least three generations.

I first rang at Leckhampton, on the south side of Cheltenham, Glos, and trained a new band at  Badgeworth before leaving for university. Since then I have led bands at Uxbridge and Harpenden and am now at Worcester Cathedral.

Pictured right is the arrival of the new bells at Harpenden in 1990, one of several bell restoration projects in which I have been involved.

For the very few who are interested in my peal compositions they can be found at Michael Wilby's website. I am attempting to put everything that has actually been rung on this site, but some have disappeared into the mists of time. The collection includes those where I have used the excellent SMC32 program, for the sake of completeness rather than as a basis for some tenuous authorship claim!
